1/ $MEZO is live

$MEZO is now listed on major exchanges including @coinbase, @krakenfx, @okx, @kucoincom, and @bitget, making the token accessible to a much broader audience.

Under the hood, Mezo splits Bitcoin's ve-system into two roles instead of one. Lock BTC to earn veBTC, which captures real fee-based yield from network activity.

The design keeps Bitcoin as the center of gravity, with MEZO acting as the mechanism that amplifies participation rather than replacing it. Claiming and locking are now live.

2/ $100M TVL in one week.

Mezo Network crossed $100M in total value locked just seven days after the $MEZO token launch, one of the fastest TVL ramps any Bitcoin L2 has seen.

The growth reflects users actively putting BTC to work through Mezo's borrowing and stablecoin infrastructure rather than simply bridging assets onto the network.

3/ The Mezo Hackathon returned, with bigger prizes and harder problems.

They surface the next generation of Bitcoin applications, test new economic models around BTC-backed finance, and give builders a direct path from idea → product → mainnet.

As Bitcoin evolves beyond a store of value, initiatives like Mezo's are helping explore what self-custodial, Bitcoin-native banking can actually look like. 👏

4/ @Bullish committed 250 BTC to Mezo Prime at launch.

That's a meaningful chunk of institutional Bitcoin deployed on day one through Anchorage Digital's qualified-custody Enclaves, the first real signal that institutions are willing to put treasury BTC to work on Mezo rather than just watching from the sidelines.

A commitment of that size at launch says more than any announcement could. It's institutional capital choosing custody-compatible yield over sitting idle.

5/ Mezo just launched a $500K bug bounty program with @cantinasecurity.

Bridges are the most exposed part of any Bitcoin L2, since every BTC entering the chain has to pass through that infrastructure first, making it the single point where a compromise puts the entire locked collateral pool at risk.

A bounty of this size signals where the priority actually sits. Security on the bridge isn't a feature to market, it's the precondition for everything else Mezo is building.

6/ Mezo Academy is now live.

It rewards MEZO holders for locking veMEZO and pairing it with veBTC over an 8-epoch term, with the Class of 2026 sharing 4M veMEZO across locking, extending, and boosting.
