Robinhood Chain has just launched, and the first warnings about scam tokens are already appearing.
Relay reported that malicious tokens have appeared on the new network, which “disappear” from users' wallets after purchase.
Important: according to Relay, this is not about compromised wallets or private key leaks, but about scam token contracts.
If someone bought such a token, the funds spent on the purchase are unfortunately lost, but the other assets in the wallet should not be at risk because of this.
Relay blocks detected malicious tokens and recommends using only verified assets.
This is a good example of risk on fresh, permissionless chains — anyone can quickly create a token there, so hype and new memecoins should be treated with great caution.
