UBS and Nethermind have completed two joint proofs of concept showing that a public, permissionless network can support the compliance and operational needs of regulated financial institutions. The PoCs show that banks and asset managers can apply strong compliance controls through the infrastructure they run on top of Ethereum, without changing how the protocol itself works. We built and tested a node that applies customizable compliance rules to outgoing transactions, and a routing component that sends approved bundles directly to selected block builders. Both validated end-to-end on Sepolia, no live transactions. This is what enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure built on deep protocol expertise looks like in practice. After clarifying my question, the EmblemAI gave a more specific answer. According to it, the Swap section on @EmblemVault currently supports roughly 850+ token/network combinations across the supported chains✅ That doesn’t mean 850 unique tokens though. Since many assets exist on multiple chains, the actual number is closer to 500 unique assets. The rough breakdown it gave was: ~ Ethereum: 300+ listings ~ BNB Chain: 250+ listings ~ Solana: 60+ listings ~ Polygon: 40+ listings ~ Base: 30+ listings ~ Hedera: HBAR native ~ Bitcoin: BTC native It also pointed out that not every asset supports fixed-rate swaps, and some are listed as sell-only assets. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the number to be that high 👀 Most people will probably never touch even 1% of those assets, but it’s still interesting to see the scale of what the swap infrastructure is working with behind the scenes.

The whole Eth-Labs thing is unbelievably bullish and might have saved this industry. What Ethereum has needed for years, and now has, is multiple major independent stewards who each have significant financial, technical and social power. Ethereum's biggest weakness was social centralisation. The entrenched core power base around the EF and related R&D orgs was creating a host of political and social problems and misaligned expectations, as well as outright corruption. I don't really want to try to blame individuals or factions for this. I just think it's a fact that the world's most important decentralized project needs decentralized leadership. Decentralized leadership means multiple, fully independent and competing nodes of social and economic power. In this framework, the EF was literally just too strong.
