🚀 Elon Musk launches X Money with Visa cards

Elon Musk has officially introduced X Money, the new financial service integrated into the X platform. The product includes savings accounts, instant payments, Visa debit cards with no foreign transaction fees, and FDIC insurance of up to $10 million through its banking partners.

The initial launch operates exclusively with fiat money.

Why does X Money not include cryptocurrencies at launch?

The decision to launch X Money without crypto is primarily driven by regulatory reasons. X Payments had to obtain money transmission licenses in numerous US states, a process that would have been significantly more complicated if a volatile asset like Dogecoin had been included from the start.

In addition, integration with Visa's payment infrastructure requires high compliance and security standards, making the incorporation of crypto assets difficult in this first phase.

For now, Dogecoin (and any other cryptocurrency) is excluded from the X Money ecosystem.

Impact on Dogecoin and future expectations

The absence of Dogecoin in X Money removes one of the most anticipated fundamental catalysts for the community. Currently, DOGE trades around $0.07466, down 25% over the past month with an RSI of 22.64, indicating deep oversold conditions.

Although there is no official confirmation, market participants speculate whether Bitcoin or Dogecoin could be integrated in a later phase once the fiat base of the service is consolidated and the regulatory framework is more stable.

For now, X Money positions itself as a traditional financial service within the X platform, without crypto integration at its initial launch.
