✍️ TL;DR: Chainlink network growth erupts with two highest on-chain days of the year

📈 BREAKING: Chainlink just posted its two strongest network growth days of 2026, with 3,142 new LINK wallets on June 25th and 3,040 more on June 26th. This kind of back-to-back wallet creation usually points to fresh interest, not just recycled trading activity, especially with $LINK still sitting near local lows. The likely spark is Chainlink’s growing institutional narrative, including Project Pangea, tokenized asset settlement, 24/5 equity data streams, and its expanding role as infrastructure for onchain finance.
🔗 LINK’s price hasn’t fully reacted yet, which actually makes the setup more interesting. The #18 market cap in crypto remains under pressure near the $7 area, but wallet growth has been accelerating while adoption headlines keep stacking up. When new users show up during weak price action, it often signals quiet accumulation and growing co…
sGHO will use CRE.
DTCC's Collateral Appchain will use CRE.
Project PANGEA will use CRE.
These have the potential to substantially increase fees, and both onchain & offchain revenue will be programmatically converted to $LINK to be stored in the @Chainlink Reserve. https://t.co/gG4nR0pBR9
Very interesting. @Aave is taking sGHO cross-chain, and it's leveraging @chainlink's CRE for it.
A new ARFC extends the same Chainlink CCIP rail that GHO runs on, now to sGHO.
Essentially, a single ERC-4626 vault stays on Ethereum as the source of truth, and the sGHO token gets distributed across L2s. This is the same model @LidoFinance uses for wstETH.
The new implementation is the dual-lane design: Fast Lane and Standard Lane.
> Fast lane: pre-funded sGHO and GHO sit on the L2, so retail-sized deposits swap GHO <> sGHO instantly at vault rate. A Chainlink CRE workflow sweeps the GHO back to mainnet, mints, and bridges sGHO back to refill.
> Standard lane: larger deposits route to the mainnet vault directly. ~40 min round trip on CCIP v1, dropping toward ~5 min once v2's faster finality is live.
In both cases, fees are paid in GHO. So, no extra gas token needed.
The initial Arbitrum launch will be provisioned with $1.2M in local liquidity, and Trail of Bits (the original auditor of Chainlink's wstETH
