    @AbdelStark proposed adding ZK Stark verification to Zcash using something called a Transparent Cache Extension, a more flexible approach than adding new opcodes to Bitcoin script. He wasn't building for Zcash. He was building proof of concept for Bitcoin, anticipating the exact pushback he'll face when he eventually proposes the same thing there. Bitcoin Takeover S17E62.
