POOLIN FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY
Poolin, once the world’s largest Bitcoin mining pool back in 2019, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection alongside two U.S. affiliates in New Jersey.
The company reports roughly $173 million in obligations, including $163.7 million owed to Poolin Wallet users after withdrawals were frozen in 2022.
Poolin plans to sell its West Texas mining assets, with a $52 million stalking-horse bid already in place, and wind down operations rather than reorganize.
