    Ripple Prime (@Ripple) clears more than $3 trillion annually for over 300 institutional clients. Mike Higgins (@mikehiggins) explained where that infrastructure is headed next. "We think with the XRP Ledger and $XRP in mind as we're building things... taking the traditional prime and clearing businesses and moving that onchain, moving that onto the ledger, is definitely a direction that we're trying to move into." All in, Ripple Prime's goal is to move the prime brokerage and clearing layer itself directly onto the XRP Ledger.

    Interesting post. The XRPL EVM Sidechain showed how difficult it is to create meaningful programmability when the native asset, users, liquidity, and wallet flows remain fragmented across separate environments. Flare approaches this differently. XRP stays rooted in the XRPL, while FXRP and Smart Accounts connect it to EVM applications, lending, stablecoin liquidity, and cross-chain markets without asking the community to bootstrap another isolated XRP ecosystem from zero. The opportunity is one connected XRP economy with access to multiple capital markets, and Flare is building the infrastructure to open that access across the EVM ecosystem.

    Ripple, $XRP, and DTCC. Let me connect what's actually confirmed, because the links are real and most people are missing them. DTCC named Ripple Prime in its 50+ firm working group for its tokenization service. That service is expected to begin limited production trades in July 2026 and fully launch in October. Ripple Prime is on the list. Remember, Ripple Prime is the former Hidden Road, acquired by Ripple in October 2025. And it's already wired into DTCC's plumbing, a participant in FICC's Government Securities Division and added to the NSCC directory under the identifier RIPL as of June 2026. Ripple also said Hidden Road would migrate post-trade activity across the XRP Ledger and use RLUSD as collateral. Honest note. DTCC hasn't confirmed XRP as a settlement asset or XRPL on its tokenization network. But Ripple Prime sitting inside DTCC's rails is documented fact. Connect the dots.
