Our Crypto OG reviewers note that Maverick Protocol $MAV operates a functional DEX with innovative liquidity technology, cross chain capabilities and backing from major investors including Binance Labs, Pantera Capital and Coinbase Ventures. However despite raising significant capital and continuing to process trading volume, the token has struggled to maintain value amid fierce competition from dominant DeFi players like Uniswap and Curve. With large portions of supply still scheduled to unlock and few major developments since its concentrated liquidity expansion, the biggest challenge appears to be turning protocol usage into lasting token demand.
Can Maverick carve out enough market share to justify MAV’s long term value or will competition and future unlocks continue to weigh on the token?
