Bittensor just did what no one in crypto has the guts to do.
57 subnets cut off. One week. No warning.
And the people complaining loudest right now?
They deserved it.
Here is the truth nobody wants to say:
Half the subnets on Bittensor were never building anything.
They registered. Collected free injections. Called themselves a project.
$TAO holders were subsidising ghost teams with real capital every single block.
That ends now.
The TAO leaking into 57 dead pools is redirecting to subnets actually shipping.
This is not a crisis.
This is a filter.
Every great network had a moment where it stopped tolerating passengers and started rewarding builders.
Ethereum had it. Bitcoin had it. Bittensor is having it right now.
The subnet owners screaming today are not victims.
They are the reason this had to happen.
Tell me I am wrong.
