ether.fi (ETHFI)

I think @ether_fi is one of the most misunderstood businesses on CT.

What CT thinks ETHFI is: A liquid restaking token in a dead narrative.

What ETHFI actually is: A three-product financial services business that's pivoted while CT wasn't paying attention.

First, the bear case:

- Restaking cooled off
- $ETHFI is down 96% from its ATH
Holder revenue has been quiet, with buybacks doing the work instead of direct distributions
- The protocol hasn't made a direct distribution to $ETHFI holders since April.

But the business is no longer focused on LRTs.

EtherFi has quietly become a three-part financial services stack:

- Staking: recurring revenue from ETH, BTC, and stablecoin yield products
- Liquid: managed strategy vaults
- Cash: a non-custodial credit card with spend, collateral, and borrow flows

That changes the frame.

DefiLlama has EtherFi at ~$239M in annualized fees, ~$55M in annualized revenue, and a ~$312M market cap.

That's roughly 1.3x annualized fees.

The market is clearly waiting for the buybacks to resume.

In the meantime, you're buying the staking revenue stream for free as it expands into new ventures that are already showing strong adoption.

For me @ether_fi is underwriting crypto' emerging financial market structure while running a high-margin, self-custodial financial services layer on top.

And $ETHFI is a leveraged claim on three compounding layers that most analyses miss or treat separately

1. blockspace as a tradeable commodity
2. protocol-orchestrated risk architecture in multi-AVS restaking
3. vertical financialization via Cash as the margin-expansion engine

At current valuations this setup has crisp asymmetric return chances. NFA
