    Breaking: Hyperliquid Added to Singapore MAS Investor Alert List @HyperliquidX said its inclusion on the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s (MAS) Investor Alert List (IAL) does not constitute a ban, enforcement action, or finding of wrongdoing. The protocol said it has never claimed to be licensed or authorized by MAS, remains permissionless infrastructure with user self-custody, and will continue engaging constructively with regulators worldwide.

    C'mon. Are you really saying hyperliquid is permissionless because it's self proclaimed? Builder codes are great, but you can't access Hyperliquid liquidity without them, that's why they exist lol. HyperEVM is a fully permissionless dev environment -> nobody care about HyperEVM or relevant builds on it. Participation in consensus is permissionless -> then run a node for me. Hypercore development goes through HIP governance which goes through what?!? The Hyperliquid team lol. What would you want to build that requires permission? You literally could not build a competitive perps app on hypercore if you wanted to. And this isn't a slight by any means. They don't need to be permissionless and in fact arguably shouldn't be. Hyperliquid is making the right decision to verticalize and build a great product, but we don't have to say they're fully permissionless when it's not.

    delphi is by far the best place I have ever worked, which makes this a hard one. when I joined, I knew I wanted to focus on perps bc it was the business/vertical I was most bullish on in tech outside of ai. the team encouraged that, but also pushed me to explore other verticals across crypto. i did, and I’m grateful for it. but I kept coming back to perps, market structure, microstructure advantages, and the teams trying to bring more of global finance onchain while also creating a durable business. hyperliquid was the obvious clear winner. but over the last year, @Lighter_xyz has continually impressed me the more i got to know the strategy and team, the more bullish i became. the leadership, bd team, engineering talent, and advisors - who were actually hands on with the company - only increased my conviction that this was a team to bet on. lighter is one of the few teams in crypto where the talent density feels closer to a silicon valley ai startup than a typical crypto company so after an incredible run
